How Jewellery Shapes Perception & Identity
I was in one of the networking events recently, and about 60 % of the attendees were women. And what I observe is that most of them were wearing excellent dresses.
The way they were carrying themselves, very conscious about how they appear. But very few wore intentional jewelry that matched their personality and vibe. Most of them didn't wear jewelry; they had just very fine pieces on them, maybe a small chain or just a wedding ring or so. I, being a jewelry designer and a stylish person, know for a fact that jewelry really makes a huge difference to your appearance, and it also adds a lot of charisma, a lot of magic to your personality.
Plus, it also adds to how people perceive you, how people look at you, and how they feel about you. Sometimes, if you're wearing a very special piece of jewelry, it also becomes an unforgettable part of meeting you. So my only request is that you think about it, see what your best piece is that you can carry to your next meeting. Even if it is an online meeting, believe me, it will make a huge difference. If your earrings really change the way your face looks. Your neckline, don't leave it empty. Have something on your necklines.
Even if you are in an online meeting, only your shoulders up to this much are seen. But what moves is your hands, your face that speaks volumes of your personality, and that also adds a lot of weight to how people perceive you and how they feel about you.
